MEA brought a new lecture for students and specialists. Our coleague and friend Patrik Kubiat Umoren, student at Lugansk State Medical University - Ukraine held on wednesday 29 september 2010 the lecture „Quantifying surgical capacity in West-Africa comparing to Eastern-Europe”.The main reason for this study was to compare the standard of surgical services and medical practice to see the level at which developing countries in Africa has reached and what their colleague at the far end of Europe as attained so far. The comparison is not to testify which region has the highest standard amount of equipment but to encourage further learning and improvement to medical field and tactics.
